Our Background

X35 Airborne School was developed to honor and preserve the traditions of airborne service while offering high level training. The program was inspired by the need for specialized, values-based instruction rooted in honor, discipline, and excellence.

X35 The Airborne School is committed to advancing the art and tradition of static line parachuting while fostering a supportive and inclusive community for veterans, first responders, and parachuting enthusiasts. Through world-class training, commemorative jumps, and participation in airshows and historical reenactments, we honor the legacy of paratroopers past and inspire future generations.

Graham - President and Chief Operating Officer

Dave Campisano - Vice President & Chief Executive Officer

  • David is the founder and Executive Director of 22Mohawks, a pioneering non-profit organization dedicated to preventing veteran and first responder suicides through the innovative pairing of individuals with dogs. He is also the CEO of X35 Airborne School and works alongside Graham Jones to bring an exceptional experience to all jumpers. Dave’s journey began during his undergraduate studies in Finance and continued through his Master’s Degree in Public Administration, both from Suffolk University. It was during this time that Dave established 22Mohawks, driven by his deep commitment to addressing the critical issue of suicide among those who have served.

    Dave’s background is marked by a distinguished career in the US Army, where he achieved Ranger qualification, Airborne status, and led multiple teams during the Global War on Terror. His military service instilled a profound understanding of leadership, resilience, and the importance of support networks—principles that have guided his work with 22Mohawks.

Matt Roberts - Senior Medic - Jumpmaster

  • Matt Roberts is a highly skilled and mission-driven professional with extensive experience in tactical medicine, airborne operations, and public safety. A U.S. Army Veteran, Matt served with distinction in H Company, 121st Airborne Infantry Long Range Surveillance (LRS), where he developed a strong foundation in operational leadership, field medicine, and high-risk mission execution.

    Since 2021, Matt has been a core member of the X35 Airborne School team, serving as a Senior Medic and advancing to become Jump Master qualified. In this role, he ensures the safety and effectiveness of airborne operations, while mentoring fellow veterans and trainees through elite-level training and crisis scenarios.

    In civilian life, Matt continues his commitment to service as a Firefighter Advanced EMT and Police Officer, actively working on the front lines of community safety. He has also served as a respected instructor across police, fire, and EMS disciplines, bringing years of real-world expertise to the classroom and field training environments.

    Matt's career reflects not only technical excellence and leadership under pressure but a lifelong dedication to protecting others, empowering his peers, and building resilient communities. His multifaceted background makes him an indispensable asset to both X35 Airborne School and the broader public safety and veteran service arenas.

Steve Sirois -
Senior Jumpmaster

Stratos Terzis - International Jumpmaster

  • Born in Greece, Stratos served in 1997 with the 2nd Para Regiment (SF) and later deployed with the NATO Hellenic Forces in Albania (AFOR) in 1998. He has also been active duty of the 88th Hellenic Battalion of the National Guard. With extensive parachuting experience, he has completed training at the Hellenic Airborne School, earning certifications as a Basic Paratrooper, Jump Master, Pathfinder, and Military Freefall (MFF) specialist. He holds USPA, BPA, and FAI D licenses, along with Coach and Static Line Instructor ratings. Since 2015, he has participated in commemorative jumps honoring historic airborne operations, including D-Day in Normandy, France, and Operation Market Garden in Arnhem, Netherlands, as well as various demonstration jumps worldwide.

Pedro Isidoro - International Jumpmaster

  • Born in Switzerland, Pedro served as an E5 in the Portuguese Special Forces Airborne Brigade before deploying to Bosnia-Herzegovina with NATO as part of the SFOR peacekeeping mission.

    Now based in Dubai, he works as an Airbus A380 Captain while also serving as a Jump Master and Drop Zone Safety Officer at X-35.

Peter Kurpeawski -

  • Peter served in the United States Army from October 1980 to March 2010, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. Throughout his distinguished career, he specialized in Military Police operations and battle coordination.

    His deployments included:

    • Iraq (2003) with the 1st Marine Division and 101st Airborne

    • Iraq (2008-2009) in Fallujah

    In addition to his leadership in combat operations, he earned multiple specialized military qualifications, including:

    • Chemical, Biological, and Nuclear Warfare

    • Military Police

    • Master Fitness Trainer

    • Air Assault School

    With decades of experience in military operations, training, and leadership, [Name] remains dedicated to supporting the veteran community.

Derek Cincotta -
Jumpmaster

  • SGT Derek Cincotta served in the 2/505th PIR, 82nd Airborne Division, with deployments to Afghanistan (OEF 2003), Iraq (OIF 2004), and New Orleans (JTF Katrina 2005). After a brief hiatus, Derek re-entered the jumping community in 2019, attending the 75th Anniversary D-Day commemoration in Normandy. He earned his Jumpmaster rating at X35 in early 2023 and continues to be an active member of the parachuting community.

Enrique “Ranger Rick” Murillo -Jumpmaster

  • Enrique "Ranger Rick" Murillo is an 11-year U.S. Army veteran born in Belize City, Belize, and raised in Jersey City, NJ. After earning his EMT-B certification, he joined the military, completing Airborne and Ranger training before serving with the 1st Ranger Battalion and later in South Korea. He then attended Special Forces Assessment and Selection, joining the 3rd Special Forces Group, where he deployed four times.

    In 2008, Murillo was wounded in combat, sustaining five gunshot wounds but returning to duty after recovery. His awards include the Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. Following his discharge in 2011, he struggled with civilian life, especially after losing a close friend to suicide. This loss inspired him to create the Parking Sign Dedication and the Man22 Suicide Awareness Run, both now in their eighth year.

    Murillo earned a degree in Welding Technology from Fayetteville Technical Community College, later pursuing advanced commercial diving and underwater welding training. Now back in Fayetteville, he continues his mission of supporting veterans and first responders, all while enjoying life with his wife, Elizabeth.

Dave Downey - Ground Activities Officer

  • Born in 1955, he served in the Marine Corps from 1973 to 1977. He has a son, born in 1976. He first jumped with X35 Airborne School in 2018, and his retirement jump took place in June 2019 during the 75th Anniversary of Normandy.
